It’s July 4th and I’m still exhausted from travel. I wasn’t tired when I was supposed to be and got to bed super late. I tried to hook up the power strip to the wall using the adapter… immediately tripped a breaker. Oops.

The apartment complex I’m staying at does all sorts of things for the residents. For July 4th they had a free meal with drinks for everyone. Hotdogs, hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, roasted corn, cocktails and beer, with a very stacked dessert bar. Thankfully, I was able to avoid the snacks. They had a surprise for us when the sun went down. They had two performances. The first was a group of 3 fire twirling people. It was pretty cool. When they got close it smelled like lighter fluid and it was hot lol. The next group were 3 people in these dope LED costumes and they were spinning light up sticks and glow in the dark sticks on strings.
